GUI ScreenIO for Windows |
To define a radiobutton, click on the radiobutton tool in the toolbar:
Now, when the mouse cursor is over your panel, it changes to a radiobutton image.
Position the mouse cursor to the the upper left corner of where you want to create your radiobutton, press the left button, and drag it to the size you want. Don't worry about being too precise, because you can easily change the size and position of your radiobutton later. When you release the button, the panel editor will ask for your radiobutton properties.
Add as many radiobuttons as you need; then, select the Groupbox tool:
Draw a box around your radiobuttons. When you release the mouse button, you have the opportunity to put your own title text on the groupbox. Type it in and press Enter.
Now, something interesting happens... All of the buttons inside the groupbox are outlined by the selection border, and if you move the mouse cursor over them, it changes to the bound cursor, which is a chain. This indicates that all of the elements within the groupbox have been bound together, and assigned to a group (which causes the buttons to be mutually exclusive when the panel is displayed - automatically).
You can also assign buttons to a group by selecting all of the buttons that belong to the group (click on the button - when selected it is outlined by a blue dashed border - hold Ctrl and click to select more than one control), then, on the panel editor menu, select Group/Assign selected to group.
You can use the context menu to bind selected items together, to lock them (which prevents you from moving them) or to copy or delete the items.
